This Mother-Tongue literacy training institute is a transformative two-week program designed to empower missionaries, Bible translators, church leaders, and language enthusiasts with the knowledge and skills to promote basic literacy in diverse linguistic communities.

Church leaders/teachers, Pastors, Literacy Officers in Christian Organizations, Church planters, Individuals interested in teaching the non-literate how to read and write in their mother tongue.

Course Content:

Introduction to Literacy Ministries, Literacy Tutor-Training Workshop, Inductive Bible Study, The LEI Literacy Method, Becoming a Tutor-Trainer, Project Management for Literacy, Introduction to Primer Construction, Leadership and LEI Member Nations, Funding and Fundraising for your Ministry
