The online class co-facilitator assists the class instructor in leading and the course and assisting the students in the learning process. Each class requires a commitment of about 5 hours per week for 3 to 9 weeks, depending on the course length.
Completion of LEI online training courses. Good administrative, interpersonal, English, and communications skills. Computer literate; attentive to detail; a team player, enthusiastic in proclaiming the message of Christ through sharing the gift of literacy. We currently use Google Classroom, FlipGrid, Zoom and Google Slides for our online training programs. An understanding of these programs or a willingness to learn them is necessary. Access to a stable Internet connection and computer. Accept LEI Covenant Commitment and Statement of Faith. The ideal candidate knows Jesus as personal Lord and Savior, is called by God to Christian work and witness, and feels God’s leading to work with LEI.
Online Class Facilitator for LEI’s Teacher Training and Primer Development Courses
1. Co-facilitate online video-conference calls with students from around the globe a minimum of 30 minutes per week.
2. Encourage students and communicate with them about their assignments.
3. Score assignments and quizzes and provide feedback and grades to students. Watch and critique student videos.
